State Park Speedway, Wausau, WI May 22

Memorial Weekend started off on a memorable and thankful note. We are very thankful for all the veterans who gave us freedom! Without them, a weekend of racing would not be possible. Also, we are very thankful that Jeremy Meyer with Amsoil was able to join us at the race and experience the short track asphalt stock car fever! The evening started out with a fast time for Natalie in the Limited Late Class, she then backed that up with a Heat win and a feature win for a clean sweep. Natalie would have loved to thank Jeremy Meyer with Amsoil for coming to the race, however, she did not have time for an interview in the winner's circle as her Super Late Car was waiting for her to jump into for the final feature of the evening. This was Natalie's first debut at State Park Speedway in the Super Late Class. She made her way to fifth place for the checkered flag! Thank you Tom Ress for crewing three cars that evening, Chris Wimmer for preparing the car, and Scott Wimmer for spotting.

Dells Raceway Park, Wisconsin Dells, WI May 24

Racing continued on during this sunny Memorial weekend and we were very thankful again for all the Veterans who sacrificed their life for us. Every weekend something new is learned at every track Natalie encounters and with Dells Raceway Park she keeps improving on changing her smooth, squeeze on the gas to a more smash on the gas approach. In the Limited Late feature race Natalie was holding fourth position and on lap 29 she chose the outside line to follow traffic thru and spun in turn one which put her back to 18th position with eleven laps remaining. She managed to pass nine cars in those eleven laps with a final finish of 9th place. Thank you Mark Vanveghel and Travis Thompson for assisting Tom Ress in the pits.

Golden Sands Speedway, Plover, WI May 26

Memorial Day has arrived and we are thankful for all the veterans who gave us the greatest country! This day goes down in history for the Tundra Series for Decker Racing. Last year, Paige Decker, won the feature and this year, Natalie won the Tundra Shootout Super Late feature. Leading up to the feature race, Tom Ress, was not at all worried about Natalie qualifying top fourteen by time. Her practice lap times were consistently in the top five. Well, qualifying did not goes as planned. Natalie qualified 26th and her qualifying laps were three tenths slower than her practice times on old tires. Her feed back after qualifying was that the car was pushing up the track and it would not want to turn. This put Natalie into the last chance race. She did not finish in the top two which put her in the Tundra Shootout Feature. Later on, we found the issue with why the car was pushing in time trials. She started in 6th position for the feature and on the second lap she got spun out in a three wide situation which sent her to the back of the field. Natalie patiently made her way up to the front and passed the checkered flag with her first Super Late Model win with only her second time ever competing in this class. In the winner's circle Natalie thanked her fans for supporting her. Thank you Tom Drexler and Renee Whipps for making every race this Memorial Weekend and being there to witness Natalie's win on this historical day!
