June 13th, 2014 (Plover, WI) // Golden Sands Speedway - It was a "Friday the 13th and a full moon kind of race" night for team #04. The night started off with qualifying at sixteenth out of twenty-three in the super late class. The team was now discussing their strategies for the remainder of the evening and Chuck was concerned on where this would put Natalie in points standings because she had to make her way into the feature with a twenty-five lap B Main race which would put extra laps on the tires. These extra laps on the tires would carry over to the next race because the tire rule requires only one new tire per race after the first race is completed.

Natalie kept a positive outlook and told her dad, Chuck, not to worry that she was ready for this challenge. In the heat race Natalie took third. In the twenty-five lap B Main race she made her way to the front and finished first which advanced her to the feature with a starting position of last. Half way through the feature race Natalie made her way from last to fifth and then a caution came out with a restart. By lap thirty-seven she was able to make her way to second position with her nose right on the bumper of the leader for the remaining three laps of the race. Coming from the B Main and starting in last for a final finish of second place out of twenty-three cars is a "Friday the 13th and full moon kind of race" that will be talked about and remembered by the team #04 for a long, long time!
